| The Amature series of events where really outstanding all day on Friday. I have n't recieved all of the information at this time on the number of contestants that had entered but there must have been around 25 cowboys and cowgirls present each day. Lots of people from all over some of which to support a particular entrant and many others such as myself to support everyone.
The weather was really accommodating that day as we had just ended a long rainy spell that had been all over the news about flooding in many states which is still pushing through the St. Louis area as of this post today.
It was a beautiful blue ski with a few small clouds hanging around and a nice brease that made everyone very comfortable with little or no humidity.
I had posted that I was going to be using a new camera Fujifilm-S6000fd which had some difficulties with the added pieces included in the package that did not help with the results. You will see, those of you present, that many possible pictures are not present that should be. I appologise if I upset anyone in advance, but these missing images where not of a high enough quality to post and to allow you to view and I hope everyone understands.
What you will see are these images captured:
prior to the event of what the grounds where like before the change (38 images),
images for Friday - Day One (217 images-sorry),
Saturday - Day two (1040 files), some images added during the preliminary's before the first Craig Cammeron Open Equine Action,
Sunday - Day Three (The Final 1,610 images),
and the awards ceremony that followed the event are included.
Saturday was a very bussy day with alot of traffic and people. You will also see all of the images showing the sun, the rouster tails, dust, even the blades of grass that move - enjoy!
Following Saturday very hot and sultry day with little brease for the Pro Series we stayed around to get the results of the top ten riders that would advance to the Pro run off on Sunday afternoons Finally.
The following are those results:
#1 - Cliff Hall with 220 points;
#2 - Lee Hart with 220 points (tie);
#3 - Wylene Wilson with 212.5 points;
#4 - Wendy Stevens with 205 points;
#5 - Wayne Bland with 205 points (tie);
#6 - Teryn Munch with 200.5 points;
#7 - Tammy Harty with 199 points;
#8 - Taylor Binkley with 198 points;
#9 - Brad Tucker with 194.5 points;
#10 - Wenda Johnson 194 points;
Congratsulations to each one of you for your profound horsemanship and individual achievement captured during this event.
Following the above announcement there was the First - "Craig Cammeron Equine Auction", Hosted by the Saddle & Sirloin Club of South Kansas City on South Holmes Rd and Route #150 in Barn #1. The event had hore'divor's and a cash bar, low light and it was very warm inside even with all of the doors and windows wide open. We had entertainment and time to talk with the contestants further on there horses that where up for sale with the understanding that those who had advanced would be allowed to keep there horse to finish the competition in the final the following day. The draw back was the new owner would have to accept the horse should something happen during the event. There was only one time that could have occured when one horse slipped at the final stop that sold for $25,000.00 who was cheched out by the vet on duty and walking fine 10 minutes after the performance.
In total the auction raised $71,200.00 from the total of 22 horses entered. Not all of the horses sold either! Congratulations to each one of you who sold your horse and we all understand you did NOT get what these wonderful creatures are acutually worth.
People, each one of these horses are family members. They're not livestock! They are so beautiful, very carring for everyone around them, extremely loving and most of them are very affectionet, very well trained to do anything you could ever possibly ask a horse to do during their lifetime already. All the new owners would need to do is to gain the respect of there new horse, hop on for dear life and ride until the tires wore off!
I am including the scanned in version of the Catalog for everyone to see. You'll notice there are no prices shown.
I am in the process of uploading these 3,000 images so you can download the items you would want to keep as my gift to each and every contestant and visitor alike. Later on we may sell these images in the future months ahead, so if you see something you would like to have - take it while you can - it's all free courtsey of Natural Pain Free Pets Dot Com.
Lastly, if you where not at the event you missed seeing me getting autographs on the NEW - Extreme Cowboy Race t-shirt and as soon as I can get someone shot the pictures I will post them for you as well.
